Broke Up, Last Time - Haunting

I just recently broke up with my gf a few hours ago (we dated 14 months). This is not the first time we broke up and got together, so I kind of messed her emotions. I kept going back because of guilt for how she was feeling, this was subconsious, I didn't know.

 

After awhile I fell out of love with her, and it made me think, maybe if I didn't meet her online, and she went to my school, I never would have been interested.

 

Anyway, I heard her mom say that I can't keep doing this to her, so I did it and I am in NC rule. However I know alot of people are pissed off at me now.

 

The relationship felt more like a weight on my shoulders. Was what I did right?

What you did was definitely right... People are going to be mad at you, given, but you shouldn't mislead her, only to break her heart worse in the end... So I think what you did was indeed right...

I didn't mislead her on purpose. I was deeply in love with her for the longest portion of our relationship. It just wore off as we began to become routine, and I guess I wasn't fully aware of my feelings.
