Ever asked to be reassigned?

I'm working temporary right now and well the job just doesn't suit me. It's a department that is run like a factory and I'm a minority as a white person it's filled with Africans and Hmong. They request you work overtime every day and on most weekends. Really it's awful, and I need money but I want out. They don't want you to have a life outside of work basically because the ones who talk about their lives outside of work get teased by the bosses i.e today was black Friday we had to work, but some went shopping before work and were mocked for doing so. I can tollerate this job temporarily but I would prefer something else. So do I dare bring it up to the temp service? What would happen? I don't want to get fired but I really want to be somewhere more professional. Help?
