Work attraction

I am attracted to a woman who works in another department at work. But I don't know how to approach her, though I know one should be careful of doing this at work.

 

What is the best way of doing this?

Always best to wait until a work social or at least, in a non-work environment i.e. accidentally bumping into her in a bar.

 

But if you really want to talk at work then I'd start by casually chatting in your break.

Definitely do not hang around her desk hoping she'll say hi. A guy at my work does that and I cannot handle it. I think DanDee's advice is pretty solid.

The good thing is that she works there, so you don't have to rush to finish line. But don't wait too long. My dumb a** would find some sort of way to end up in her cubicle, if I had to box up a broken phone and say, "hey this package came for you...." "Oh you didn't order this???" "Oh, I'm 2sidedcoin by the way...."

I see her from time to time, but I don't get time to chat with her. She's by her cubicle most of the time, and I go to the staff cafeteria to eat.
