meteorstrike
So Crystal has got ear mites. She scratched till her ears bled. She has scratched almost all the fuzzy hair out of her ears. I didn't know how hard it was to drop medicine into a cat's ear. She gets really angry and I am suppose to do it 3x a day. She hisses and shakes and try her best to run. I have to hold her head really hard and she bites and shake her head so I have to redo it because the medicine didn't go in. Do you think this will traumatize the cat or drive her to hate me? damn her previous owner for being so dirty. although the cat was free, vet check up, shots, and medicine already cost me a bit. I should have just adopted a cat at the SPCA for a small fee. Link to comment
jengh
Try wrapping her in a towel so she can't squirm as much. It should help get the drops down easier. Oh, poor thing I'm sure she's very grateful for taking her in. Link to comment
catfeeder
I bought a pack of 'Revolution' from link removed One dose between the shoulder blades stopped the ear mites and prevented reinfection. (Frontline does not treat mites.) Link to comment
