Why do my friends never want to hang out?

So I have basically spent the last 3 weekends alone, trying to find something to do. Usually I end up going out by myself to the local bookstore or something just to get out of my house.

 

I always call my buddies up seeing if they want to go hang somewhere but its always the same thing. "Naw man I am staying in for the night" or "I think I am just going to play some video games." The strange part is that whenever they do something together they never invite me. I don't think I am some sort of downer, and when I do hang out with my friends we always have a great time...

 

So am I missing something? Do they avoid doing things for a reason or do I just need new friends? I swear it gets pretty boring/lonely with all these nothing to do weekends.

i have the same problem too, it's really boring. Not like i dont have money to pay for myself, i want to know why too.

 

it's also hard to make new friends, when we dont go anywhere
