How can you tell if the oppostie sex is interesed in you?

What really are some signs, without talking to the person first, that could lead to believe the person likes you?

Without talkin to them first is alittle hard.. but lots of eye contact is a good sign.. so is basically acting shy ( i take it ur talking about a girl here lol)

So like if she looks over at you alot to catch ur eye and when she does she looks away and stuff.. body languge.. playing with hair and that aswell.

You really need to look for things that she would do that seem rather strange. Like if she touches her hair to move it out of her face, even though it was never in her face to begin with. Just strange little things like that. People usually get nervous around someone they like and do things like that.

Just out of interest, why would they stare at you if they didn't like you? Other than the obvious like you have somehting on your face... But isn't it rude to stare?
