need some quick inputs on how to ask this girl

So, there is this girl that works in my office cafeteria. I have an afternoon snack or a breakfast there and I get a feeling that she always gives me a long smile and tries to have a quick conversation ... I have been going there for about 2-3 months now.

 

I noticed that she wears a ring.

 

I think I would like to ask her if she wants to go for dinner or something. I am going for a basketball game with a friend (male) tomorrow night. Should I ask her (and how) tomorrow morning when I see her in the cafeteria working?

 

How should I approach this guys? (I don't even know if she is single by the way)

Does the ring look like an engagement or wedding ring?

can't be sure. In my country its not a norm so I can't figure that out.

 

Also, which hand should it be on (if she is married)? I think (think) I saw it on her left hand.

Left hand, ring finger. If she has that going on for her, I think you need to at the very least be friends with this girl.
