How to ask your date what their intentions are

This is for my office mate (shes fairly new to being single just like me; we have a lot of questions hahah.)

 

She meets a guy. They hit it off. They have seen each other once a week, about, for 4 weeks. They text about every other day or so. She is okay for taking is slow and such, but also wants to know what his intentions are. When and how should she bring this up? She doesnt want to keep hanging out just to find out he is not looking for anything serious but also doesnt want to start asking those type of questions and make him think shes wanting too much.

 

It seems clear that he likes her, but she is sorta looking for a verbal/concrete answer.

Maybe just preface it with "Not trying to freak you out or anything, just curious.. but..."

 

It has been 4 weeks .. it's not like they just met. I don't think having that convo now is out of the question.

thank you. we agreed that would probably be a pretty harmless way of bringing it up. she thinks they are going to hang out at her place for the first time (all the other dates have been public) so maybe they can get to talking in a private setting.
