Meeting with ex's Bestfriend

i have recently been dumped by a girl who i am in love with. we broke up on good terms three weeks ago.we had been dating for 5 months. she needs time to get her head straight and figure out what she wants. i miss her quite a lot and she is constantly on my mind.

her bestfriend is in town tomorrow and wants to meet up with me for some dinner. i am going to go, but what do i say. do i tell her how i really feel about my ex or do i play it cool and keep my true feelings to myself.

i'd appreciate some feedback

Well go in knowing everything you say is going to get back to her. Just play it easy. Let her know you still care but don't delve into it too much. Good luck. I am meeting up with one of ex's friends tonight for a beer so we will see.

Yes, I agree with the post above. When the topic of your ex comes up, just say things that show you care, but not much more. It will get back to your ex. Anything further that needs saying or knowing, should be done directly.
