Best way to wear this?

Hey all,

Id like to wear a similar style(see pic) shirt on a blind/casual date in a couple nights. Obviously I want to make a good impression but not sure whats protocal wearing for this type shirt. I have and worn plenty of button downs, but none that seem this dressy/flashy, but still give casual feel...Wow, did I just say that? Ive just been revamping my closet to some nicer stuff and abit unsure..

Anyway I got the shirt kinda wrinkled up and ive given it the poor mans iron rountine(hanging up while taking a couple hot/steamy showers) Looks quite a bit better, but I dont think this is really the type of shirt that ya want ironed flat right? I dont want to look lazy either, just sharp...

Do you ladies like this look generally with a nice pair of jeans and shoes? Any other tips?

That's probably fine... a nice brown belt and brown shoes with jeans would look nice.

That type of shirt doesn't need to be ironed to perfection.. it's still somewhat of a casual style.
