Cialis - used to treat ED

I saw my doctor for the second time a few months ago regarding the 'psychological erectile dysfunction' that I suffer from. On this occasion he confirmed that it was indeed entirely psychological, and on that basis prescribed me four tablets of Cialis 10mg, using the analogy my body 'is like a cold engine - it needs to run on choke for a while until it gets used to whats needed'.

 

I took it for the first time yesterday, just before noon, expecting the first sexually active evening with my lady. I'm pleased to say I experienced no serious side effects at all, but sadly nor did I experience any of the desired effects!!

 

During foreplay I did have a solid erection for quite some time, but as time went on - only about six in the evening by this stage - all ability went away as usual, and sadly no sex was had. Fortunately she was very understanding.

 

I'm resisting the urge to give up hope on them, and I have three doses left for future encounters. Did I take it wrong, is it only effective for the one erection - i.e. the one I had during foreplay?
