what to say?

so, i have no problem going up to girls and starting a conversation with them, but i dont really know what to say after breaking the ice. any tips on how to keep the conversation going?

You are the opposite of many, who can keep a conversation going but just can't approach women to start with.

 

So... Ask open ended questions. If they can possibly answer yes or no then the conversation won't flow.

 

Ask them if they are studying, and what. Where it leads, what they want to study in uni. Where are they working, is it something they like doing. What movies do they like, ask what they thought of this one or that one. What do they like doing when not studying.

 

Then listen carefully to what they say and ask further questions about some of the things they say. Oh, you like Blah blah actor in that movie, did you like him in this other movie, what do you like about him. What was your favorite bit... etc etc When the flow of conversation a particular subject dries up. Ask about something else, and try to pick up things as you go that you can ask more questions about.

 

Importantly, keep them talking. Show an interest and only talk about yourself briefly if they ask something.
