skydiver00
Different topics ive seen it mentioned about having a call or at least texting before meeting if two have met online... How many agree with this?? Am I in the minority of preferring to keep my number til we've met and use that as sign of interest at the end of our date/meeting?? Link to comment
flash83
its your preference. ive met people where ive talked to them on the phone first, and ive met people where ive only sent back and forth a couple of messages. there are many other ways to get a sign if interest than asking for a number... Unknown1607307972
I don't mind giving my number but I don't exactly give it out straight away. Link to comment
Bob3000
I don't mind texting, but I prefer not to talk by phone beforehand. Simply because the lack of facial expressions (or even emoticons) makes it too easy to be misunderstood (well, if you have a dry sense of humour anyway...) Link to comment
Jimbot07
Ive always given out my number before meeting, at least if they reciprocate and give their number back you know they are at least half serious about meeting up. However some people have dropped contact as soon as I have given them my number, it doesn't really bother me though as it just shows they are not really up for anything more than emailing, which is not what I want!! Get chatting, swap numbers, meet - sooner rather than later, that's the way I work, no point faffing about!! Link to comment
