How to ask someone out

Well i want to ask this girl out to a dance but iono how to ask her. whats the best way to ask a girl to find out if she wants to go or not?

That is easy, there is only one way, just got up to her and ask her. I know it sounds obvious, but that is really what you should do. If you like this girl, and you go up and do it with a degree of confidence, it will work in you favour, girls like guys with confidence.

That's the best thing. You'll find that often times the straightforward answer is the best answer. Just go up to her and ask if she'd like to be your date. If you never ask, you'll never know.

First off how attractive is this girl? If she's very pretty then I'd have to disagree with SwingFox on giving compliments left and right because it'll just make you seem like a butt kisser who just wants to win her heart through flattery, like every other guy. But do smile at her and look her in the eyes.

 

Secondly, how well do you know this girl? Are you friends, acquaintances or have you never even spoken to her? If you've never even spoken to her then you have to make small talk with her first and get to know her a little before you just come straight out and ask "will you go out with me" Keep the conversations light at first when you're speaking to her(ie nothing controversial, religion etc) Good luck!
