Asking a friend out

I have a big problem there is a friend of mine that i have been friendly with for years but recentlywe have been getting on great and i would love to ask her out but the thing is about 2 years ago i used to go out with her best friend and she went out with my best friend. Anyway should i go ahead or what?

would your friend, or her friend get upset if you started dating? its not like you can control your feelings, so you should talk to your friend & see how he would feel first & let him know how you feel. if you like her & she likes you, i think you should go for it.

go for it home boy... or you may never know may be she's got the same feeling for you too... and plus... you're ex is your ex... and plus you're not commited to her anymore... so move on... haha

It's been 2 years, so I doubt it would be a problem, but if you're still good friends with all of them it would be a nice gesture to check, at least to mention your intentions and say you hope there wouldn't be any hard feelings about it.
