drowning

falling has ended, surface I've hit

it seems this fall has ended too quick

floating here I wonder why

I jumped from my brdige up so high

maybe for one lasting quick thrill

sinking here I wonder still

if I should have done things differently

too late right now, or so it seems

my bridge was built for me up there

crossing the bridge, too much to bear

and so I decided instead to fall

what's the point in bearing it all

a bridge was made for me to cross

some consider a gain...I a loss

it may be sad to sink so far down

I, right here, am happy to drown.
