My son (who just turned 3) is suddenly telling me that he doesn't like me and that he does not want to come home with me. This incident has happened the two times that I have picked him up from visit with his father. The first time it happened, I waited for him to calm down (he was visibly in distress), but after about a half hour, I took him home against his will. During our ride home, he kicked and screamed that he didn't like me and he wanted to go with his dad. I simply would reply that his dad needed to leave and that it was time for him to be with me. I asked him to calm down and after a couple of minutes he fell asleep. The next 'father visit', this happened again, this time I waited for my son to fall asleep before taking him with me. Normally, I would think this is simply him being more attached to his father, but during our marriage he was very manipulating and invective, during our divorce as well. On many occasions he told me he would do everything in his power to put my son against me. I would take it as, him letting off steam, and would pay no heed. But, now that this situation rises, I fear that this is really his plan. I need help, there is many more issues involved in this dilema, but in summary, this is it. I need help. I am even pondering working part-time, just so I may spend more time with my son. HELP!!!
