  1. After a 4 year relationship my ex and I broke it off 3 months ago. We spoke during the first 1 1/2 months of the break up and she had said there were no potential new boyfriends in her life, we never ended it bad and did not speak for a month and a half because she was busy working and I was as well. I have moved back to KY to be near her in hopes to try to re-kindle what we once had, I thought quite a bit about us and realized she was who I wanted to be with for the rest of my life, career be damned. I had everything planned out, I wanted to take her out for a weekend and propose as soon as the time was right. I tried calling her mom's to get her new number (she recently got a new apartment) and sent her a few emails. Well I finally got a reply and she said she was getting married. What should I do, I have loved this women since I first laid eyes on her but now it looks like my chances are better winning the lottery than getting her back. Is it wrong for me to try to get her back despite the engagement or should I swallow my pride and stupidity and consider it a life-lesson I will never forget? I would normally accept it and move on but the fact she is getting married after at most 2 months of dating bothers me quite a bit. I care for her and don't want to move on unless I know that there is no chance in hell for me to get her back.
