4 days today...it gets easier, then harder...I guess I'm looking I want it to be quick and painless, there is no such thing. We were very close (saw each other every night and talked on the phone a lot) so it's going to take more than 1 week to get over this I don't loose hope... Hi, I'm new to this site, nice to get support for what we're all going through. We broke up because he couldn't move forward (engagement, marriage) a little over a week ago, talked 3 times since then, mostly me calling him. We've known each other for 2 years and the 1st year we were on and off again, the last year steady. I was always the one to contact him after we've broken up and we would get back together. This time I told him not to contact me unless he's ready to make the commitment to get married, he's said he loves me but can't let me go or get married. This is the challenge I need, I don't want to go back to what we had and I want to accept the challenge of NC. Thanks for your support
