I have problems chatting to Girls over the phone. Tend to hate the embarrassing silence you get sometimes. I'd rather meet up for a coffee and have a chat in person. My situtation at that moments is causing me grief. I've meet a really nice girl on the net about a month ago and we get along great. However she's sent me her phone number and wants to have a chat before we meet in person. The thing is I'm extremely nervous about it, and don't know what to do. Anyone have any ideas how to get over these nervers or have a great excuse as to why I can't call, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks for the advice. The card I did send however was very simple. Just wishing her happy Valentines day and to have an enjoyable one. So maybe she isn't well, not that I'm hoping she is but it will be a relieving reason.

If you got a Valentines ecard from a guy you have been chating to for over four months, would it freak you out? Even thou you get along great and have organised a visit from him for a weekend in the future. I think I've scared a nice girl off. Haven't heared from her since before Valentines day and I usually get an email every two days.

Hey All Hope some of you nice people out there might be able to help me out. I've been chating via email and MSN to a really nice girl for the past four months. We have been getting along great and have even planned to meet in April. Not sure if this girl is interested in dating or if she only see's me as a friend (I'm considering her as a possible date). The thing is I sent her a Valentines ecard, very casualy saying happy Valentines day and best wishes etc. Anyway I sent her a card and I know she's read due to the notification I got. But no card in return and no emails saying thanks. Also I usually get an email every day or two. But nothing lately, have I ruined it? Please help....
