Yea, Im working at a place for the summer to make money for school, a few girls were hired for the summer also.
Its pretty much us five 21-25 year old students and like 30 40+ year old permanent worker guys. Im the only guy student hired.
Its not a very..busy job so theres a lot of sitting around, reading, watching TV, napping, talking etc. during these long 12 hour night/day (alternating) shifts.
I'll cut right to the chase.
She's always (it seems) sitting by me, talking to me, mostly small talk, about life, etc.
mostly always looks into the eyes.
Likes to tell me about her school, interests.
Some conversations have turned to sexual in content (ex: talking about an article in the paper she was reading about some teens having sex too young, I joked around saying 12 is a good age for first time, she smiled said 'it would be like this big' putting her fingers inches apart)
Joking around with me, showing me an ad in a magazine for a tampon, with the line 'soft comfort tip, good for first timers' (or something similar) raising her eyebrow.
ALWAYS asks me what Im doing for the weekend.
Just past Friday she said how she was doing nothing, and I said it was supposed to be really hot on the weekend, and she said 'All I need is someone with a pool' looking right at me (knowing from past chats that I DO have a pool), I teased her saying 'Yea, I dont have that problem' (idiot )
Most circumstances I would go for the gold, what have I got to lose, but heres the catch:
I have heard her mention she had a boyfriend when she was talking to one of the other girls when she first started work. She doesnt talk about him to me very often if at all.
We're only young, and relationships can come and go really fast at this age, for all I know they met in a club and have just went on a few dates or whatever.
But what the hell I could hint at getting together and boom ruin everything for the rest of the summer.
Jeez Im actually looking forward to going to work because of this girl.
And if I dont say anything, I'll probably never see her again after our work term is up in Sept.
Its just tough determining whether she's just treating me like a good friend (since there are so few people our age there to talk to) or she subtly flirting around.
I know for a fact its not pity at least since Im well liked there by the guys and its not like Im always sitting alone looking all lonely. They all joke around with me 'If I was your age' 'If I was 20 years younger...'
'What are you waiting for' etc...
People my Dad's age talking like this is actually quite hilarious.
