New to the group. never thought I would have to be in a forum like this asking questions, but I'm getting really nervous about my current situation.
About a month ago my wife of 10 years asked for a partial separation. We would both stay in the house as to not disrupt our 5 yr old daughters life. I work nights so it seems to work fairly well, sleep durring the day, work night. My wifes schedule is opposite. On the weekends we alternate. If its my weekend to stay home, she will go to a friends house and come back Sunday night. vice-versa if its her weekend to stay home.
I have noticed over the last roughly 8 months that some things don't quite click. When she is talking on the phone, she gets really quiet and gives single word answers when I walk into the room. She has a cell phone and just had voice mail activated on it. She has been going out on Sat. nights for "girls night out", but that has changed to "night out" because there are other guys she once worked with showing up. One of those guys has a brother, who doesn't live in this state. I know my wife likes him, just how much I'm not sure. She said he is just a good friend. I check the cell phone records when I'm paying the bill, and his number is on there a few times, amazingly when I'm at work or gone for the weekend. She has just recently started to delete the caller ID names and numbers every day, something she never did before. She asked me for our mailbox key, which really seemed weird because she has never wanted to get the mail ever. I am currently seeing a counciler(?) and she has seen one also, wheter she is still going or not I don't know. Another strange thing is she used to always hate to wear thong undies, but now when I do the laundry, I notice she purchased about 6 pairs of basically "dental floss". We haven't had sex or slept together in about a month and a half. I don't know if any of these things mean anything, or if I am paranoid. But I truly feel like I am loosing my mind. I love her almost more than anything in the world, after our daughter. Please help me...if more info is needed let me know and I'll try to give more.
