Finding it hard to adjust to new kitty in the house!

Okay, so we recently got a new kitten which i was really looking forward to getting - but now we have him, i'm finding it really hard to adjust having him in the house - i'm not sure if it's because i was working all week so i haven't had time to adjust to him - or if it's because i just generally feel down at the moment, but any tips to help me adjust and bond with him?

Just do what you always do. Study, watch tv, whatever. I promise you that kitten is going to walk up to you and start meowing and playing with anything he/she can. Have a cat toy at hand and just toss it and play fetch and stuff. Just don't worry about the attention and bonding part because from my experience cats just do it naturally once they get used to the apartment and you.

Hi! I agree with Staple. From my experience, though your cat may be fond of you, they have this "don't call me, i'll call you attitude". Specially for kittens, they are playful but quite wary of you at first, but once they're ready, they'll be all over you.
