First time issue

Last night I lost my virginity to my girlfriend (who is quite experienced.) i'm 19 and we've been together for a couple of days.

 

She helped guide me through it, knowing that I didn't really know what I was doing. We were going for about 20 minutes and i was unable to achieve an orgasm. we tried about 4 different positions but nothing seemed to work. we finally stopped and of course i was embarrassed.

 

i've heard most guys take about 5-10 minutes their first time, or even faster. i think it was just nerves, but i'm nervous to have this happen again. any tips?/is this normal?

I wouldn't worry about it. Seeing as how it was your first time. It happens to everyone, even when you've been having sex for years. Don't stress, it's totally normal

A friend of mine had the exact same thing happen to him. Being anxious about sex can either make you orgasm too quickly, or can delay it a very long time. Us humans are pretty weird.
