I want to start a relationship...and I mean it

I'm a freshman in high school and this girl who is amazingly beautiful has been in my mind the past couple weeks. I have asked her a couple times to do things, but she's saying "I don't know". How can I get her to actually do something with me? Not sex...just go and see a movie or something.

 

What can I offer to do with her that she would like?

 

I told her I would give her a call and if that was alright....she said it was.

 

What should I say?

I would ask her what sort of things she likes to do, e.g. what music she listens to, has she got a favourite group, would she like to go and see ...... the group that's playing at the town hall/leisure centre or whatever, does she like pizza/pasta, chinese, indian, what movies does she like, who's her favourite film star, does she like going to museums, has she ever been on holiday abroad, etc.

 

I'm sure you can come up with all sorts of things you could ask her. Don't forget to tell her who you like. Make it a two way conversation.

Maybe next time she's babysitting you can volunteer to go and keep her company?

Instead of waiting until she's got to babysit (I think that'd be too late because she'll have already made arrangements with her friends) mention it the next time you see her. Just say, 'The next time you have to babysit your brothers I could come around and help you if you like?' Something like that.

No it's not flirting, but it's a step closer to being together. You can flirt when she agrees you can babysit with her. Which is also the time to ask if she'd like to go for a pizza or to a movie, etc.

Try to arrange to go out somewhere. If she says no, well at least you won't be spending the next 70 years thinking "what if".

She said that she doesn't believe her mother would like boys to be over when she's babysitting....oh well
