What do you want in a relationship?

Recommended Posts

I like comfort, security, and affection in a relationship. (and I'm lucky enough to have them Knowing the other person will always understand you and be there for you. Never having to be afraid of telling them what's on your mind.

I also like to be treated as an equal. Nothing more, nothing less.

Someone who will defend me infront of others, even if I am wrong...

Someone who will comfort me when I am having a bad day.

Someone who will lust after me, even if I haven't shaved my legs in months.

Someone who will trust me and talk to me when we are having issues...

Someone will give me my privacy when I need it...

Someone who would:

--know when I've had a bad day by just looking at me

--be the person to cheer me up when I've cheered up half the world

--be trustworthy and faithful

--share my beliefs and values

--call me for no reason

--make only the promises they intend to keep

--let me be the boss sometimes, but still take the lead

--eat all the stuff I experiment with in the kitchen

--like cats, kids and John Cusack movies

--have their own interests, their own friends, require their own space

--want to travel the world

--inspire me to write poetry about them for the rest of my days

To give and receive affection and to be able to honestly trust each other.

To share lifes experiences and both enjoy them as much as each other.

For us to each have our own interests, friends and hobby's so we don't rely on each for company ALL the time.

To know that your partner will always be there for you, regardless of the situation.

That's what I want.

what I want in a relationship:

- Love

- friendship

- truthfulness

- honesty

- caring

- unselfishness

- being there for each other anytime and everytime, especially when needed

- letting me give her random flowers, presents, letters, etc on the most randomest days

- up for walks

- appreciate each others' interests even if we don't share some interests

- respect each other and other's family's/friends

- similar interests in religion, morals, values

- share life together and support each others' lives.

- there's a lot more, but I think I should leave it at this for now.
