improve the style of my conversations..more people friendly

what's personally helped you to become a more exciting, expressive talker? I listen to my classmates but mimicing their style is impossible.

 

But, should I take a spoken word class? Or a class that involves speech/comedy? I say a lot of good things but they don't come accross to others in a convincing, effective way. I speak with no emotion..which is very, very, bad in the friendship-making process.

When I had a similar problem, a friend of mine suggested me to read Dale Carnegie. You can start with 'How to win friends and influence people' and once that is finished, can carry on with the others.

i did a little research on that, i find that is quite useful, but i should point out the last edition was printed in 1981. you can pm me if you interested in that, i can send you a preview version of it.
