it depends how much you know him, and how much contact youve had with eachother.

well I like him, but not to a wild extent ya know? We talk at work, and he flirts with me, I would say we are rather comfortable around each other but then again I feel kind of bad for getting his number from another person then texting him

it also depends on the guy. one guy might take it as a compliment and another might find it freaky but if he knows you he'll probly take it as a compliment.

I think you should get the guy's number from this other person and call him and/or text him and tell him that you got his number from this other person and say, "I hope this is alright?" See what he says.

 

Or you could call him and say you got his number from this other person and say, "I was calling to see if you wanted to go see _______ movie?"

 

I don't think that's stalkerish. You guys already know each other and it sounds like you are getting to be friends.

yeah it depends on the person, but its not really 'stalkerish' to get his number from someone else.

It's no worse that looking someone's number up in a phonebook, and I don't think anyone would think it's stalkerish to phone someone once. Provided you've met them first. Phoning an utter stranger out of the blue is weird.

i guess it depends if he likes you. If it was a girll whom I was friends with or liked I wouldn't mind, but if it was some chick I had absolutely no interest in, I would be a little creeped out.
