I know that feeling. Comes when you're in a mood. We get focused so much on how we feel that other people kinda fade out. It's hard to say something nice to someone else then.

 

I just had a bad day like that today. I guess the best answer is to simply refocus your thoughts on other people. Make a rule, that in your next conversation with someone else, for every thing you say about yourself, you ask two thigs about the person you're talking to. That way, you focus outward, and you'll feel better, and the compliments, when real, will flow.
