Got a number at lunch today... Weird situation

Hi everyone,

 

So I was at a sandwhich shop for lunch today where I was speaking to a girl who was there for lunch.

She said she worked at a restaurant down the street and she was excited that it was her last day at work and that she had a new job.

So I congratulated her and we spoke a bit and I asked her out for drinks to celebrate.

But then she said she cant tonight because she works tomorrow.

At first I thought she was uninterested.

But then she gave me her number and told me she gets off at 5.

 

So now, I dont know what to do.

Does she expect me to call her tonight? She told me she got off at 5.

If she does, I dont want to be a jerk and not call.

But she made it fairly clear that tonight wasnt good.

so I dont want to seem needy.

 

Any thoughts anyone???

Call her tomorrow after 5. Not tonight. She already said tonight wasn't good for her so just don't worry about it.

I dunno....she said she couldn't "do drinks" tonite because she was working tomorrow, but if she handed over the phone number and said she got off at 5, it might be that she hopes he'll call tonite and set up a date for another night?

 

Ugh. I see the dilemma here, lol. I guess calling tomorrow would be the best bet.
