Emailing

So theres a girl in one of my classes I kinda like, I don't however see her on a regular basis(the class meets once every two weeks), and I would like to email her.

 

Does anyone have any tips on e-mailing?

then just email her. ask her something about the class since that's what you have in common with her. Maybe pretend you forgot something about it like an assignment or something. Then wait to see if she replies. If she does then go from there. If she doesn't, then just pretend you never sent it when you see her in class.

You should have some physical contact first. That way at least she has some way of putting a face to the email?

 

You didn't quite make it clear how far you are with this girl..

 

If you have just been admiring from a distance and don't know her, I would really advise against it.

Wait until next time you have class, strike up a conversation with her. When it's time for her to leave, the ask "hey can you write down your email address, (Phone is better) for me so I can contact you?"

 

That's how I met my first girlfriend.

do you think it would be better to write an email just asking what i missed, or perhapes making reference to getting together to go over the class

we've talked in person quite a bit, I usually avoid using email but am looking to try new things.

I'm really not sure about your approach. It's way too slow.

 

I think for good effect you should have started to let her know that you like her. This emailing about other stuff is just beating around the bush. Just ask her out.

id sugesst IM (msn etc) that way u get a reply almost straight away rather than waiting ages for a reply to an email.

 

but phones better thats where i screwed up. only called her 3 times in the 3 months i went out with my g/f. an 2 of then was to ask for directions to sumwhere that we were meetin up.
