Is this legit or is she backing out on me?

I had planned on taking this girl to a play on Sunday Night (Easter). First time going out with her. Now when I asked her, I had no idea the play was on Easter Night and neither did she. We had planned on me picking her up at her house and getting a bite to eat before the play. Last week she asked if I was sure on Sunday because that's Easter and I said yes. Well last night she told me she isn't sure about Sunday Night because she has a family get together. So now I'm wondering if she is being serious or just using that as an excuse.

 

Any tips? If we don't go should I plan for us to do something again and if she backs out of that, just give up?

I think it's legit.......try and re-schedule and see what happens. If she flakes again then stay away!
