bastardhead
I'm not young but i'm not an early sprouter, and i'm still shorter than my mum and dad at the age of 16, so i think i'm still growing, i do however want to work out, so i wanna join the gym, i just dont know whether its safe. What would a safe workout routine be? Thanks. Link to comment
t_guy00
I wasn't an early spouter either like growing up I was always the shorter on of the crowd. But i started working out young too. I would start with just working with the arms and not pushing urself to fast. I would wait until to used to it to start bench pressing. But i can't be possitive if i were you i would ask the people in the gym for advice to see if it would stunt ur growth it did cahnge anything about me or I hope it didn't..... Link to comment
JonnyG
If you arent really fully grown hieght wise, its prob best to leave out the excercises that have a large weight bearing down on u e.g. squats. I think research has shown that it can effect the growth of young people. So stick to things like concentration curls and benching. U will be fine. Link to comment
