How to bring up the topic of marriage?

How long into the relationship do you guys bring up the topic of marriage? and how was it brought up? Do guys initiate this topic as well?

 

My bf of 1.5 years and I are both in our late 20's and naturally, I'd like to know where this relationship is going and whether or not he sees me as a potential life-long partner. I'm not very good with these things so any help on how to bring this topic up without making him feel pressured would be appreciated!
