odor??

ok, this isnt really bad, or well i dont know. but my girlfriend is very hygenically clean. but no matter what she does (cleaning very well) she still has a odor down there. she is comfortable with talking to me about it, but we are trying to figure out some possibilities of use or something to keep it fresher. yes, it doesnt have a odor for like 1 hour but after that, it just seems like its back to its normal scent. like i said she is a very clean person,but she just cant see what the problem is. any suggestions on what she could do or use?

She could have a mild yeast infection or something medical that is causing it. I suggest a trip to her gyno to talk about it and see if there is something that can be done.

Could it be that the "odor" is normal, and you're just new to how girls are down there?

It sounds normal to me ... the natural vaginal secretions do smell different to soap and water ... about an hour after showering, you would expect that you would start to smell normal again

Every woman has a scent to a greater or lesser degree. There's nothing wrong with it (as long as it's not very strong), it's just something the body does. She can try using a gentle douche once a month or so and see if that helps, but she shouldn't worry overly much unless she has any sort of additional irritation or if the smell becomes strong.
