A mate of mine offered the phone number of the girl I liked today. I said she would hate you for giving me her number.

 

Was I right to reject him giving me the number of the girl I like?

I don't think theres a right or wrong in that..It's more of one of those self opinions I think.. You were trying to think of your friend and how the girl you liked would feel. On the other hand...I don't think she would've hated him for it....There could've been a friendship starting..but what you did made nothing worse thereforeeee...youre in the clear...but hey**you might want to try and get her number yourself now, see where that goes...

I think you did the right thing my not accepting the number from your mate. If you like her you should work at getting closer to her, if you know her as a friend i don't suppose she would of mind but it would be better getting the number from her.
