  1. Hey, everybody!! I am a 19 year old college student that is painfully shy, has never had a boyfriend, and has difficulty with the whole flirting thing. I like this guy that lives on campus with me; I met him through a mutual friend. He probably even shyer than I am, but once we started talking, everything was cool. I enjoy talking to him because he's more mature and intellectual than the rest of the guys around and he told me that he likes talking to me, also. His friends and mine go bowling every Monday night and since is the only time I can talk to him without his nosy friends completely listening, I "try" to flirt by making physical contact; I've noticed prolonged high-five's on his part. Sometimes I catch him giving me weird looks, but it's probably because he thinks I'm crazy. I really like this guy, and school is going to be out in less than a month. I would "flirt" with him like I do on our bowling nights, but I don't want to be all obvious and embarrass myself in front of our friends. He is so shy, he even told me that if he liked a girl, he wouldn't tell her how he feels, so it's up to me to do something about it. Should I just be a woman about it and ask him out or should I tell him that I want to get to know him better? Or none of the above? I am so clueless when it comes to males and their behavior, it's not even funny, so any and all advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
