So I like this shy girl. I'll admit it I have always been shy too. This is the first girl I have liked enough to put myself out there and get to know. So we have talked alot on MSN and a bit in person in the last couple weeks. So espicially from shy girls I need your opinion. She never starts the conversation with me but seems more than willing to do her part keeping it going when we do talk. When we talk I notice she plays with her hair ALOT and kind of tilts her head when we talk. We have talked about personal issues with likes and dislikes.. also family and friends. The thing that really bugs me is even when we pass each other in the halls (relatively small high school) she is never the first one to say hi. She usually has a geuine smile on (i think) after I say hi but she can never do it first. I also never catch her looking at me, although my friend says he has once or twice. And if I look at her from say accross the class it is like she dosen't notice most of the time.
So my questions are:
Is she trying to "play it cool"?
Do you think she is just trying to be polite?
Do you think she is waiting for me to ask her out?
Basically from shy girls: do you think she is acting this way because she likes me or because she is being polite...if she doesnt want to go out i still want to be friends but do you think another week or so of getting to know each other would be enough before i ask her out? (we have been getting to know each other for about two weeks.
