Ok Her boyfriend is not violent or a real bad guy any any way shape or form or she wouldn't be with him. Yes he is in jail but that don't mean he is bad he just got caught drinking and driving with no liscence and din't have insurance so he got nailed pretty good for all of it. I really do care for her but don't want to pressure her knowing that she wants to make things work with him. WEll now that being said please help

Listen here I am a 21 year old male that is a single father and now in love with my bestfriend who has a boyfriend. I have known this girl most of my life we went to grade school together and everything. We are so close and my son alex calls her mom. I Love her with all my heart and I know she has feelings for me but wants to make her relationship work with her boyfriend that is currently in jail. I am with her all the time and we share all of our problems and talk about anything. My family likes her and I know I have had a crush on her since 8th grade and now it's not a crush I know I'm in love and don't know how to approch her about it.Please help me caus eI love her and want to tell her but don't know how.
