sabena Posted August 2, 2003 Share Posted August 2, 2003 You can continue to have sex as far into pregnancy, right up until birth. This includes orgasms. If a woman has slight bleeding in the first trimester, it is common to be told to avoid intercourse and orgasm for the period of one week from the last episode of bleeding. The only reasons why you should are if there has been bleeding, chances of transmitting an STD or another medical reason from your doctor, but otherwise go for it.
