well, i've been in a similar situation as you. My guy in question was also long-distance. 1100 miles away.

 

However, the drama of the psuedo-relationship finally got to me. I just wasn't getting enough from him. And he really didn't make much effort for me. I was the one making most of the effort. All my friends told me that I should get over him.

 

I finally did. It just took me a while. I see now that he's a jerk who wasted a lot of my time. Ok, maybe he's not a bad guy, but he did waste a lot of my time. I should have known better.
