Friendship question

In order to solidfy a friendship, what are the physical and non-physical things you MUST give to a person or people?

as far as physical goes, at least between same gender friends I wouldn't say much. I mean birthday cards and stuff.

 

As far as non-physical things go:

 

unwavering trust

sympathy

advice

 

the list could go on and on

 

 

one thing my best friend and I do is that if we want to get together, we always try to rearrange things if e can and if we cant, one of us always sets up a rain date.

Hmmmm....... I think friendship should be built on trust, honesty, compassion, REALLY listening to the other person. Being there for them unconditionally to support them through the good, the bad, and the in between, and always have a hug and or a shoulder ready and waiting.

I think that the non-material things you can give to a friend is, trust, unconditional love, always being there for them, and never letting them down.

Material objects could be anything personalized to fit their personality.
