Hi, I attended an interview yesterday. One of my ex- colleagues referred me to this place where i attended the interview. There were two rounds and the first interviewer told my friend she is fine with me and she like to have me. But, shortly there was another round . the second person who interviewed me told that she has shortlisted me. But, also she told me not to raise papers in the office i am currently working until i receive the call from them. Now, I am not sure if am selected or not. My ex colleague told me that i need to wait to know the results! Does that mean i have / haven't cleared the interview ?

Yes thanks ! but i am confused why would they say i am shortlisted but then also say wait for the call? What does that mean? really the wait is making me crabby

Shortlisted means you are one of the best candidates but they still haven't made their final decision.
