I really enjoyed reading it and for those of you who have been demonized it will explain what is happening and perhaps provide a small amount of comfort. Everybody is going through their own battle's. Yes, even your Ex. Sometimes it is hard to see or remember that...when you think, feel or act like you are in battle with them. Link to comment

You know what it's funny, we as dumpees, go so far in our process to understand, heal & whatnot as to read about everything more or less related to the subject. We will heal, do the real work, and strive to better ourselves, not just for us, but for our future partners. We want to be better people, bettering ourselves so that we gain abetter insight into ourselves, our own issues and problems...the breakup was our wake up call, to them , it was just another relationship that didn't work out BECAUSE OF THE OTHER PERSON....never them, never will be, either.....the reflection they see in the mirror is distorted to the view of themselves they have made themselves believe they see....the person without the flaws and issues and baggage. And as far as they are concerned post-breakup..., well, i guess the old saying fits it best: " Ignorance is bliss " Link to comment
