But I have to say it again, just so you know.

And so I can know as well.

 

I suppose you know that I like you.

I mean, I suppose I've made that clear

Clear enough, Im sure.

But I suppose saying it once more

Won't hurt one bit.

 

I am not perfect

Nor do I claim to be.

But, my valentine.

I would try be as close to perfect as I can possibly be.

I may not be Don Juan

Come to sweep you off your feet

In a torrent of love and passion

But I would try my best to sweep you off your feet nonetheless.

It is the only thing I could possibly do for you.

I think you are so pretty and wonderful.

I could do no less.

 

I know you have no reason to feel the same

No obligation

But I hope you'll give me a look anyways

Because I can assure you

You wouldn't be disappointed.

 

I may not be the King of Swing

But I can show you a good time

And Id treat you beautifully

Like the beautiful person you are

If you'd like.

 

And it doesnt have to be too serious.

Nothing good ever came from rushing things

And I'd be willing to take it slow for a long time.

And savor the time I spent

With you.
