Ry2003
It has been nearly 6 months since she broke us up with the "its not you, it's me excuse". After all this time she is still on my mind on more than one occasion everyday, I have slept with 9 girls since her and yet I still think of her all the time, despite some of the greatest experiances. I just want to forget her, what is wrong with me?! Is it a case of wanting what I cannot have?!! How long did it take you to get over the thoughts and into the comfort stage where you don't really think of her/him at all? Link to comment

Cid
It is hard to say how long it takes but someday you will get over her (but probley not all the way) Link to comment
lunatic
I can only say that it takes time so relax it will get better day by day. Eventually you will not think about her/him that much at all. You will know someday that you feel better because you haven't thought about her/him for a long while. Link to comment
idiotme
I think the thoughts and feelings toward a person you loved will never go away. However, time will eventually suppress those thoughts and feelings. As for myself, I realize the more i try to get rid of them the more i think of them. But when i say to myself, if you loved someone with all your heart and soul you're already being loved, it feels much better. That's my experience. Link to comment
