Again a miss understanding of just how evolution works, the evolutionery sulection means that the limmited radom changers in DnA are the veted buy the organisms ability to servive and replecate thus carrying to the next geniration its adaptations.

One...I've never been "in" love, I hardly wonder if it even exists, or if it's just again...another blind faith that controls one's body to an infatuation of such power to another person, call it what you want...I still have yet to really believe it. I find it hard to trust others for one, because time and time again, I only see the strongest of relationships failing.

The problem that youa re having is that you are placing all of your faith in man rather in God. All men/women are sinners! We all are imperfect! You should place your love in God and in Jesus! Love will come your way when you believe that you are worthy of divine love, or as the apostle Paul said maybe you are called to be single in order to preach the Word. What ever the case stop felling bad about your love life and enjoy what you have! I use to feel bad about my love life but I decided to stop doing that. When you let go of your expectations of love God will send you love. God sent me a love/friend to keep me company. He will do the same for you just wait!!

The ONLY, and one and ONLY thing that contests it supposedly...are my own parents, who had some problems earlier in their marriage, then after they both began going to church...have never yet to have one of that same degree(ie. a problem that could have led to divorce easily). But again, even that isn't perfect, because any one person or two people could blindly believe together that some person/religion/book saved their marriage. Whatever it may be, ...8 years or so down the line from that very same church that "saved" their marriage, our entire family stopped going there because of some jealously of power between my mother and the pastor.

WOW!!! Well my friend you are mistaking what Jesus is all about. Did your pastor save you from your sin? Did your parents save you form your sin? Jesus saved you from your sin!!!! It seems like you are placing what the church does as the end with all. Jesus died for your sins not a church. Churches may come and go but you relationship with Jesus should never change. Jesus is the focus of your life!! You should fellowship with others but it seems like you are leaving out the best park which is God. Your ex-pastor has nothing to do with your relationship with God.

I think you should take the Bible literally. If you believe that or not is up to you. However we are talking about a all knowing God that can maniffest anything that he wants to. The Bibel says that God wasy are higher than out ways. It is our LOWLY ways that limit us from understanding God. You only understand God based on boundaries placed in human exsistance, however inthe exisitance og God the boundaries are not the same. It amazes me how we can be so captivated by stories such as Lord of the Rings or Star Wars, yet we cannot use our boundless imaginations to try to understand the complexities of God.

But those who have the slightest of doubt, if you really do your research, you'll find that many of those stories, truly are JUST stories.

Oh My!!! Praise You Jesus!! Jesus was such a wonderful man. The concept of faith is so profound!!! Faith is something that is hard to come by. Jesus said in the Bible that many people would not believe unless they had signs and evidence. However, That is not what Jesus wanted. A time will come when the signs and evidence will be false, and you will worship a false god. You have to have faith in God, or you will be presentened with false evidence. The time of the AnitChrist has been around for a long time and one day the man who is the antichrist will decieve you with the evidence that you seek. We beileive by faith and not by sight!!!! What you see will be the very thing that will deceive you.

Did you know during the time that Jesus walked the earth...there was another messiah in another part of the world claiming the same things, with followers, and miracles? So...why is Jesus right?

Jesus is right because his life fits all of the prophcies of the true Messiah!! No one knows who you are talking about but Jesus is the most written about person in the world!! The Messiah was to be a Jewish man from the tribe of Judah a desendent from King David brought to bring his message first to the Jews and then to the Gentiles.

Just because he is in the most popular of books sold worldwide, his story is true and this other unknown messiah isn't?

Well no one knows about him? You do not even know his name. No one worked to up keep his legacy, no one died to keep his memory alive, thereforeeee he must have not been that important.

Another thing, in the bible, Jesus was born of the virgin Mary...right? So...think of your current girlfriend now(or if you dont have one, think of a past one)...if you and her hadn't engaged in sex, but she came to you tonight claiming she was pregnant...but also claimed God was the one who made her pregnant, would you believe her? Obviously...you should, because Joseph did...wow. That'd be some pretty hard news to believe...I'd be kicking her to the curb if that were me.

Well if you read the Bible you will see that Joseph did not believe Mary at first. In fact he reacted like any man would. He wanted to kick her to the curb. He no longer wanted to marry her. He wanted to send her away. However, he was visted by an angel that told him Mary was telling him the truth and that she was pregnant by the Holy Spirit.

can keep going on...but again, these are things people believe because of faith, and nothing's going to change that. I just happened to be one of the one's who tried and tried, but never "got it"...so here I am now.

I just read that some believed they date to around 165 BCE and some believed they dated to around 530 BCE.Just because we don't know the answer to a question doesn't mean that something magic or mystical was behind it.

I just think that it is cool that this still predates Jesus Christ!!! And all of the prophecies about Jesus Christ were true and are not made up. I proves that God knew the beginning from the end and he knows all things!!

Yes exactly, who's to say who's right and who's wrong? That's why I said..until death, or whatever end comes, no one will know. That's why I HATE that all religions believe so blindly that they're RIGHT, and everyone else is wrong. Okay..maybe that was a big generalization, but in most senses...that's how it goes, even if you don't outright tell everyone who follows a different religion. In your heart, you believe you're right, and in the end, that's what matters to you...so keep it that way. The point where you start crossing the line is ...telling others they're wrong and going to hell etc... (I especially hate those guys who come to my college campus and just rant and rave in the middlemost point of campus about sex/drugs/partying...you name it, they're ...in not so many words, butts)

It can be really hard sharing what you believe with people. I know!

What I do know is that sharing the gospel message of Christ is meant to be out of love and not malice. No one of any religion is perfect. In fact the Bible says that we all are sinner snad have fallen short the glory of God. I KNOW I HAVE!!!

Anyway the gospel message is simple. I just see it as sharing what you know with a friend out of love because you do not want to see someone that you love hurting. No one should ever tell someone that they are going to hell. No one really knows who is going to hell.

My favorite passage from the Bible is Psalms 103 it is one of the most beautiful passages written in the entire Bible. Gods love is everlasting.

The fact is that we all must die one day and we have to decide where we want to spent eternity. We have to make the decision before our death. When we step from time into eternity we cannot change our minds.

Jesus loved us so much that he paid our sin debt for us. The punishment for sin is death and hell. Since we all are sinners we all deserve to pay for our sins. But Jesus paid for our sin by dying on the cross and taking our punishment for us! John3:16 says---"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[f] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

God loves us! He does not want to punish us but to save us. We have to make up our minds that we are sinners and that we need Jesus to pay the debt that we owe. have you ever heard of Pascals Wager? Well it is not right judge others about how they live their lives.

Pascals Wager was simple:

1.Accept Jesus Christ and be wrong about God's exsistance.....nothing happens, you have nothing to lose.

2. Reject Christ lose your soul.

I really have nothing to lose by accepting Christ it is a win-win thing for me.

However, If I rejected Christ and waited until I died, I would lose my soul. I would have to stand before God and give an account of my life. What can I tell God? "Hey I did not believe in you b/c I thought everyone is right." That is not a good excuse. God is patient kind, and slow to anger. Just imagine he gives us a life time to make up our mind about Christ. But as the Apostle Pual said Today is the day of salvation give your life to CHirst today! No one is promised tomorrow and we may not wake up to see tomorrow. When you step from time into eternity it is to late. So make up your mind to give Jesus a chance today. Let Jesus pay your sin debt , let him be your Comforter, and let him be your Savior!!!

Who are the others? The documents are carbon dated so they are that old. Look up information about the Dead Sea Scrolls.

If the world is 4.5 billion years old wouldn't that be enough time for nature to create the complexities that exist in the world today?

Not really because it does not explain how it came to be in the first place. As I said before 4.5 billion years of random acts does not explain anything. In fact, it just affirms that there is a creator. Many species that exist today would not exist if it were left alone to radon evolution. The process of evolution would have taken to long to produce the essential elements needed for some species to survive.

Never mind that Jesus said never to build a church in his name; it's all good.

Worship Jesus? No, I don't think that's what he would have wanted. He never made his friends bow down to him.

The Old Testament fortold of the people worshiping the Messiah. For example, Daniel 13:13 "In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presense. 14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.

Jesus came to people as a humble man but he also knew that at his 2nd coming he would not longer be just a man/prophet. He would be a King sitting on the right hand side of God coming to judge the entire world of their sins.

Jesus will separate the saved (Sheep from the unsaved (goats). The unsaved are people that have not accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. If Jesus has the right to judge you on Judgement Day then he expects worship form you.

Matthew 25 31"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. 32All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

Do you believe in genes?

God made genes. I think that it is unwise for people to look at genes and not see their complexities. It is clear to see that they are the result of an intelligent designer. They are derived from a process that is not random or contrived. God is the intelligence behind all of the science discoveries. He is the creator of genes. Our bodies, the universe, and this exsistance that we live in is TOO complex to not have an intelligent designer backing it all up.

Which empire in the world has not fallen over time?

It is really not that simple. The Book of Daniel gives detailed information about the accounts of that time and the rulers of the Empires that would fall before the events ever took place. The carbon copy dating proves that the documents were written over 500 years before the events took place.

So do you believe in evolution?

I guess it depends on what you mean by evolution.

I do believe that creatures adapt to their environments.

However, I do not believe that we started out as sludge in the sea that evolved into various species.

I believe in the account in Genesis. That God created everything as it should be on the sixth day of creation.

Who's to say that Jesus wasn't gay or married? The old testament doesn't say that does it? By the way... who's to say that the old testament isn't a false document? How do you know which part was and was not written by God?

Well The Old Testament says that homsexuality is a sin against God. So that would be a contradiction to what God stands for. The act of homsexuality is a sin. Since Jesus was the only perfect being to ever exsist he could not be gay. In the Old Testament The Jews had to sacrifice a perfect lamb or sheep to God without spot or blemish. God called Jesus the lamb of God. So, Jesus was without sin. He was not a sinner. In order for him to pay the price for our sins Jesus has to be sinless.

Jesus was not married b/c the prophcies from the Old Testament tells us that the Messiah was not married and had no (BIO)children of his own. He only had spiritual children, this is listed in Isaiah 53 for example.

The Old Testament pretty much holds its weight. I went to a museum that displayed the Dead Sea Scrolls and it was interesting to see the Old Testament Scrolls. Based on carbon dating the scrolls are authentic to the time before Christ. In addition, many of the stories have historical data to back up their claims. I think that there is more that is true about the Old Testament rather than things that are unknown. I believe that the OT is all inspired by God. Most of the accounts in the book came to pass. For example, the OT fortells of the falling of the Babylonian, Greek, and Roman Empires and that all came to pass. It fortold of the coming Messiah (Book of Daniel 9-12), who would be born of a virgin, die for the sins of mankind, he would be a prince of peace, etc.

How do you figure it's all true? Besides faith I mean.

It takes a lot of soul searching and research. For the past three years I have studied the Bible a lot. I have learned things that I never thought about before. It just all makes so much sense to me. I do not see how anyone could not believe in God after looking at all of his creations. I just do not think that everything that exsists is made by chance. The Bible has become so precious to me. It tells the beginning from the end.

"For example, did you know that the Bible was actually created several hundred years after Christ died? An emperor named Constantine summoned all the major religious leaders of the time and they "edited" the Bible. There are books that aren't in it."

The Old Testament is the key to the New Testament. The Old Testament fortells the coming of Christ and what Jesus' life will be like. So, in order to see if the New Testament is true we can look onto the Old Testament about the prophecies of the coming Messiah (Jesus).

So the books that were "taken out" so to speak were false documents that did not line up with the Old Testament. Any person can write a false gospel. That is why it was so important to sort the real documents from the fake documents. In any other profession a council would be praised for sorting out the truth from the fake. However, in this case people want to accept any Tom's, Bob's, or Harry's account of a gospel. Jesus was not married and he was not gay. Even in the book of Acts it gives an account of people preaching the wrong message about Christ. It also talks about how more advanced teachers had to correct some of the incorrect facts given out about Jesus. So we now just from the account in Acts that false documents were printed and false information was given out.

The stands alone and its truth will be everlasting.

yes some of it is relivent but do you really think every part of a holly book thats 2k old is true, no mow one dos so ya have to ask your self I'm i cherry picking with hind site thows parts that seem to fit.

I believe that every part of the Bible is true. I read the book a lot. Everyone has the right to do what they want to do. But on Judgement Day I hope that we all have made the right choices that will put us in good graces with God. We all are sinners and have fallen short the glory of God, thereforeeee it is important that we see the saving grace that Jesus gave to all whom look to him for salvation.

We have not been dating very long at all! Less than a month. But he seems more into me than I am into him. I just wanted to know if this falls into the same area of being equally yoked.

Most of the religions out today have been around for thousands of years. SO, I doubt that their will be new gods to worship.

I do not think that the Bible is outdated. I think all of its lessons apply in any time frame or setting. The same problems that they faced a long time ago are the same problems that we deal with today. Such as greed, love, war, adultary, lust, pride, hard-heartedness, unbelief, idoltary, and much more.

The parables and lessons that Jesus taught still apply today. Such as the parable of the four soils.

What are all the things that can be defined in being equally yoked ? I am starting to date again but I am closly guarding my heart. I meet a guy whom to me does not seem to fit the bill of what I want in a man. He is 10 years older than me, he has an 11 year old son, and he does not have a college education.

I am a very open minded person, but it seems that we do not make a great match. He seems very nice he calls alot, but that does not mean much. Guys are alway on their best behavior when you meet them. So does being equally yoked also apply to education and income? I know my family would not approve of him because he did not go to college. Everyone in my family struggled to go to college or greater. They would not understand me dating someone that did not go to college. I feel so bad but then again I might be saving myself from heartache. I am too young to deal with an 11 year old kid.

1. There will be emphasis on the end of the world, or coming judgment, or the arrival of the aliens to finally retrieve us (don't laugh; there are people who completely believe this, and some who killed themselves in that belief). Only the cult members will be saved, retrieved, or receive reward.

Christianity is based on one truth: Jesus is the son of God. Jesus was born of a virgin and made through the Holy Spirit of God.

JW's don't believe that. I see it this way. If Jesus was a sinless man then he must be ONE with the father. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The Bible clearly says that no man is without sin. If Jesus were just a man then he would be a sinner just like you and I. If he were the product of a man and a woman he would automatically be born into sin (the sins of Adam).

Jesus is God manifested in the flesh.

If Jesus were not God then how can he redeem us from our sins? How can a sinner redeem a sinner from sin? That does not make sense. However, God is without sin, thereforeeee being a product of himself he had a son that was without sin that can redeem the sinners from their sin. JW's can not explain the hundrends of Messianic prophecies found in the Old Testament fortelling the life of Jesus Christ the coming Messiah. What about Isaiah 53?

If Jesus was the sacrifice he must have been pure without blemish or spot, so to speak. According to JW's Jesus is just a man, with the title son of God.

The Bible warns of people like this (JW's.) They believe in the Lord but deny him all of his power and glory. JW's deny Jesus all of his power and glory. thereforeeee being a part of this religion is not the path to heaven. Jesus said the only way to the father is through the Son. Jesus said that you must accept him as your savior and Lord. Jesus did not say accept me as only your prophet you have to accept him as Christ the Messiah.

You and you BF need to get as far away from the JWs as you can. JW's prey on new Christians that are not as strong in the Word as more mature Christians. My cousin got brainwashed into that mess and once they have you, it is hard to get out because they isolate you from knowing the truth. They change their bible to say something else that the original Hebrew and Greek text did not say. It is all just darkness posing as light.

The Christian walk will not be easy. The Bible says that a righteous man falls 7 times and gets back up again. There will be days when you will miss the mark, but that just gives you more power to start over again to make things right. If you have given your life to Jesus Christ you were bought at a price. That price was Jesus' death on the cross. He paid for your sins so you would not have to suffer.

Faith can be tricky. My advice to you would be to pray and ask God to come into your heart. Science is not the entire answer. I believe that science is only a tool used to prove God's existence. Science argues toward a form of intelligent design rather than just a copulation of random occurrences. Our bodies alone contain so many intricate forms of mini machines, that even today man could not duplicate some of the functions that the human body performs. The Bible says that Jesus is the great physician and God is the creator of all things.

I have gone through rough times as a kid too (mother’s death etc.) but it has only made my faith stronger! Prayer and reading the word of God is just like working out! Your grandmother has such a close relationship with God because she has put many years and practice in her faith. I am an example of a person that has spoken with the almighty God. Look at it like this. If you were a body builder, the only way you could lift 500 pounds is if you dedicated your life to building your muscles. Having an intimate relationship with God is the same way; we must build our muscles of faith! In order for you to understand God the way others do, you must build your faith by prayer and reading the Word of God. Great knowledge of God comes from the practice of great faith.

You can not put off your salvation tomorrow. You are never promised tomorrow. The Bible says "Today is the day of salvation!" In my hometown, about a month and a half ago four girls were killed in a school bus accident. Their bus fell 30 feet off the interstate. I use to work at the high school the girls attended, so I knew those girls! It was a shock to know that such young lives were lost they were all young teens about your age. I remember talking with one of the girls that died in the crash about six months before the accident. I admired her strength. She had been through a lot at such a young age. She had been shot in the face by her ex-boyfriend and lived to tell her testimony. Despite all of her hardships she still had a humble spirit and a warm personality. What I will remember most about the girls is, that all four of the girls had given their lives to Christ. They are all in the kingdom of God.

At your age you can not say what will happen to you tomorrow, thereforeeee you should seek the Lord today. Do not let the troubles of this world keep you from eternal life. No one or no thing should make you lose your soul. Jesus said "What does it profit a man to gain the whole world but forfeit his soul?" You are forfeiting your soul if you let petty things get in the way of coming to know God.

I came to know God through prayer. God pursued me as if I were his only love. I tried to run away from him but I could not, his love was too overwhelming. I felt content with him. As I began to learn more about God, the more excited I became about him. The prophetic dreams and visions began to manifest themselves into my life. This was a true indicator of building my faith. What I enjoyed most were the prophecies about the coming of Jesus Christ. They captivated me and keep my passion for God burning. I just could not believe how true the Bible is and how God can show us the beginning from the end. It was nice to see the outline and vision of Jesus Christ’s life written all through the Old Testament even when others rejected him, he was so forgiving. Well I will stop here. I can talk about God all day long! I hope that you will come to find the Lord. Remember you are not promised tomorrow and when you step out of time into eternity it is too late. So, make the right decisions today.

I hope that I will not die anytime soon. I guess the only thing that I wish I could have done, is to be more open and show people how much I cared for them. I look forward to the furture and I only pray that the best will come to my life. I am putting all the bad things behind me and looking forward.

It sounds like it is too late now or its it? People today do what ever they want to do. I do not think it is a good idea to have a baby at such an age but people do it all the time. For example, all the Hollywood movie stars. The only bad thing about having kids at such an age is that this person may die when the kids are young. This man may not get a chance to see his children grow up.
