Sorry,but I don't believe you could be friends with someone after being intimate with them. It doesn't work. For me anyway. I would always be thinking what could have been.

we dated for a year. we were compatible and in sync, we could practically finish each others sentences. we were great together, I always made her laugh and we made a good looking couple.

At my age I know it won't be easy to find someone like her. we were compatible. She is everything I ever wanted in a woman,a partner and a lover. She's beautiful,caring,funny,thoughtful and sexy. I feel like we were meant to be together. We were in sync and could practically finish each other's sentences.

She broke up with me. It was over something as small as a gift I didn't give her. She was the best thing that ever happened to me. Yes she is the same girl as last september in my last post.

Broke up with gf almost 6 weeks ago and trying to get her back. Painted her portrait that she knew nothing about,sent it to her and got an e-mail from her saying - no hard feelings and we'll talk in the near future. What do I do now? I am heartbroken and been crying ever since the breakup.

Just to give you guys an update....We spent all day Saturday together,went to a museum,had dinner and we both brought along our cameras. She asked 2 people to take a picture of us together. When the time came for us to go our separate ways,we kissed a few times. I asked to see her again and she said Of course!

I'm not in a rush,but she made it sound like she was going to meet other guys and I didn't want to wait too long to call her for a date again. You know,"He who hesitates is lost". I live by that.

How long are you supposed to wait before you spend the whole day with someone?

We did talk on the phone once before we met. And after we met I am thinking that maybe she thought I wasn't interested,but I was and told her I would like to see her again. That when I asked her to have dinner with me. I don't think I rushed her into anything. Anyway,why wait? If I did wait too long to ask her out maybe someone else would have her. So you do have to act quick.

Met this woman on from yahoo personals last Friday. We seemed to hit it off. She even told me I am a good catch. Bought her dinner this past Wednesday and everything seemed to be going in the right direction. When we left the restaurant I asked her what her plans were for the weekend. She made it sound like she was going to meet someone else. When I told her I wanted to spend a whole day with her she said that she would cancel her plans and clear her calendar. Now I call her last night on her cell phone and had to leave a message to call me back and she hasn't.

Is she giving me the run around or is she meeting other guys? I am beginning to think that all that she said to me was just B.S. What do you guys think?

That's ok. I just thought that if there were any guys in the same situation as me that they could give me something to go on.

Right! That would be a big help if I knew exactly what to do this time. I don't want to get shot down again. If I get rejected again I won't be able to show my face again.

Maybe she told me she was seeing someone to let me know she wasn't interested. I would rather someone come out and tell me they aren't interested than to say you are seeing someone. It sounded too much like it was something she rehearsed.

I would like to approach her,believe me,but the last time I spoke to her she said she was seeing someone. But if you are seeing someone then why the hell do you keep looking at me? And the fact that I don't want to look desperate either.

If you struck out while you were trying to pick up a woman,would you try again in say 6 months? Here's the low-down...I tried to pickup this woman a while back and I can tell she wasn't interested. But why after all these months is she giving me the eye again? I don't understand that. Any thoughts?

So,let me ask you this...How do I turn it around so she is not nervous about me? This woman doesn't know me at all. That's what bothers me about the whole situation. Maybe she needs to see me doing something good for someone. Maybe that will change her opinion of me.

For some reason I think that she thinks I am some kind of a stalker,which I am not. She even hides from me,even though in the corner of my eye I notice her looking my way.

This really does not pertain to friends or friendships,but i was just wondering...How do you get someone you are interested in to notice you? Please don't tell me to just go up to this person and say hello. Tried it once and it didn't work. Just want her to see that I am not the guy she thinks I am.

How about leaving a note on your front door telling him to come in and to meet you in the bathroom naked. There you will have a bubblebath ready with wine,strawberries and candlelight throughout the entire bathroom. Wash each others back and eat the strawberries out of each others mouth. When you are finished he should carry you to the bedroom and make wild passionate love to you. I did this for a gf and she loved it. The next week she did the same for me. What a night! WOOHOO!!

Hi, I'm new here and this is my first post. Its always been hard for me to meet women. In the past I have usually met them in clubs. But for the last couple of years I have been meeting them through internet dating sites. I've met many women this way...some were nice and some just weren't my type. I have dated a few. When I say "dated" I mean more than two months. Well,anyway lately I've been interested in meeting this woman from link removed. Looking over her profile we have so many things in common. I already know that I want to meet her and don't want to blow it. We talked on the phone briefly,she is supposed to call me later for a more in depth conversation. If all goes well I plan to ask her if I can meet her. Now here is the problem...I run out of things to say very quickly. I mean I ask her about her interests,her living arrangements,her job and family. But beyond that I am lost. What do you usually talk about on the first date?
