I met this guy Will way back in the beginning of the year at a band concert. I was waiting to go on when he came up to me and started talking to me and a friendship was born! I'm a freshman, and he's a senior, a very cute one I might add.
Today at lunch I'm hanging with all my freshie friends and he comes up to me and he's like, "Hey, can we talk for a second?" So he's like, "Prom's in a month, will you go with me?" I thought he was kidding, so I started laughing and I was like, "Haha, you're funny Will!" and then he's like, "No, I'm serious!" and I was like, whoa..., "to go as friends right?" and he says, "no, you're a great friend jen, but i want you to be my girl" I was pretty overwhelmed and I was like, "I'm flattered, but can I get back to you?" I was probably bright red...but I've never been asked out to a dance by a guy, I've pretty much gone with my girls or with guy friends I was really comfortable with.
So...I don't know I'm puzzled, out of all the senior girls he could of asked, he asks me, and I don't want to make him feel bad or anything. And like if I did go I would hang with his senior friends, so I guess this whole situation is relaly uncomfortable for me, but I've never really had to tell a guy...no...soooo what do I dooo? Keep my options open?
