Thank you for the responses. I know that he recently ended a relationship (like the same week I met him)...not due to me but he was ending it before he met me. So I'm sure maybe the timing of us meeting was not the best. He said that he does not want to push me away that he just needs to go slow. That he usually doesn't go from one relationship to another but that he likes me. I'm just trying to take it at his speed for the time being and see where things go...wish me luck!

I am a 38 year old never married female who has just started "seeing" a 44 year old never married male. This is a new "relationship" of only a little over a month but my feelings are very intense. He calls every day. He comes over to my house at least 3-5 times a week in the evening hours and we talk and end up in the bedroom although we have not had actual sex. He says that he is not ready for that yet. He said that he is still a bit pensive about going to far with me too soon or basing emotions on the intimacy we are doing at the moment (oral sex). I am confused ...should i feel blessed that someone wants to not rush things or afraid that he's not into me?
